Arbitration

Arbitration is the most formal Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) process. In arbitration, instead of the parties bargaining with each other, a neutral arbitrator decides the outcome. Parties in arbitration agree on certain rules to govern the process. Similar to a court proceeding, parties plead their case in an arbitration session, hoping for a favorable decision. Like a judge, an arbitrator makes decisions about evidence and gives an “arbitration award” which is generally binding on the parties. There are several types of arbitration to choose from and our staf is available to assit you with whichever form of arbitration is best suited for your situation.
